Mike was a proud graduate of Rye High School Class of ‘49, where he was voted most friendly.  This was evident as he had many cherished lifelong friends who loved him as family.  Mike was a proud United States Marine Corp Veteran.  He was a 35-year employee of the Harrison School District where he was loved by many, always looking out for the benefits of his fellow workers.   If anyone had a problem at work with Mike, it was their fault.

Mike was a loving husband and good father who spent many hours with his sons playing ball, fishing, going to ball games, and taking family vacations.

An avid golfer and bowler with many buddies from each.  Mike was a die hard lifelong Cincinnati Reds fan and a longtime Pittsburg Steeler fan starting during their lean years.

Mike was loved by many and a friend to all who know him.  He was also known as the Unofficial Mayor of Meadow Place.  In later years he derived much enjoyment providing treats for all the dogs on the block.
