I only saw Bob a few times since high school, but he always had a smile when we shook hands.
Such a nice guy, glad to have known him.
He was also a great wrestler at Rye High School if I remember correctly.
If I may, I think his nickname in high school was Bobbo, But I seem to remember another one...Ratspoli.
I mean it in a nice way, but you all know high school kids.
I was Pion Dion in high school.

Dear Rispoli Family,
I was greatly saddened to learn of Bob's death at far to young an age. He was always a pleasure to work with...upbeat, friendly and reliable. He was an excellent plumber who could solve every problem or new installation I presented him with. It also made me feel secure that he served as a fire fighter! All my life, Bob was there. So much fun playing, getting into trouble and having the best time. Fighting over that last piece of Braciole. As adults he was always there for all of us. After loosing my Dad, he was right there to help me and Mom in anyway. Bob was the best. It's so heartwarming to hear how many people are saying "Wonderful man" "The best" "Great guy" He was! Never spoke a bad word of anyone and I never heard a bad word about him. There are so many wonderful memories. He will always be in our hearts and he will be missed everyday. Our hearts and prayers are with all of you.
You said it all in the obituary, but I want you to know that I only have great memories of Bob. I spent a few summers in Rye as a teenager and Bobby (then and always in my heart) always made it fun and adventurous. He was funny, kind, and a little bit crazy. He was a great cousin and friend.
We think of you all so often. Know that we pray for you and Bob.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all.. Bobbo was a friend since elementary school, a key player in all our '74 reunions, a cheerful positive guy throughout his struggles. A friend and fellow contractor to my brother Pete, and a great craftsman when my mother's house had to be rebuilt back in the 90's. Always tried to visit with Bobbo when I was up there because he was such a trooper and his positivity was contagious. Sad I can't be there to honor his life but know you're all in my heart.

What a life well-lived! Bob was the best and will be missed by the Rees Family so much. He was part of our lives since we bought our first house in Rye in 1981. No matter what the catastrophe, Bob was always there - calming, smiling, professional, and caring. I don't think I ever heard him say an unkind word nor heard anyone ever say anything but kind words about him.
You all have been such an inspiration during his battle with cancer. He was blessed to have such a loving family and so many friends who will miss him each and every day. Our love to the entire Rispoli family.
