I met Tom in Rhode Island at rwu, we became friendly playing basketball against each other, i used to hate guarding him cause he was quick and made a lot of deep jump shots... he always made the game more competitive and whenever i got to play against his squad i always knew it would be a fun game! He had that huge smile when the game was done but there was also that no funny-business attitude (laser focus) to playin b-ball that you hardly ever run across! I can’t remember ever being able to trash talk him he would just put his head down and float another three ball in. I ran into Tom by chance in the city a few years ago after college and we talked about those great times playing ball and it just filled my heart. I’m so sorry for your loss.
