Victor was a loving and caring gentleman. He welcomed us to Rye Brook when we had the good fortune of buying our first house across the street from his beautiful home. He continued to make us feel loved on his daily walks around the block, always quick with a smile and a joke. Our connection only grew stronger when we started a family of our own and he would stop to greet our three daughters who were playing out front of the home. He watched them grow from babies into active little girls into teenagers and then into young adults. I felt fortunate that he played a role in their upbringing as if he was another grandparent sharing daily interactions with us. He loved when they would see him walking down the street and shout his name for a hello. Victor not only cared for them but for me and Cynthia. We shared many a story about wine, travel, family, and food. He was a proud father, doting husband and aficionado of all things Italian. I have so many fond memories of Victor that I am truly sad for his passing. I only know that he lived a beautiful life! I am so appreciative to have called him my friend and neighbor.
