
Obituary of James F. Arrigoni
James Arrigoni of Miami Beach, Florida passed peacefully early Wednesday morning after a courageous battle with ALS. His last few weeks were in Rye, New York surrounded by family and friends. He leaves his father Edward Arrigoni of Greenwich, and his wife Mary Jane, along with three sisters, Jeanne O’Reilly and her husband Biff of North Palm Beach, Laurie Arrigoni Cassoli and her husband Peter, of Greenwich, and Karen Arrigoni and her husband Raymond M. Pepi of New York City. Jimmy also leaves his beloved niece and nephews, Katie, Christopher, Matthew, Edward, Charlie, Teddy and William. He was predeceased by his mother Helen Arrigoni.
James was a graduate from Fordham Prep and later attended Iona College in New Rochelle. Jimmy’s career was dedicated to his family business, New York Bus Service. An avid golfer and car enthusiast, he was a member of the La Gorce Country Club in Miami Beach, and Wykagyl Country Club in New Rochelle. He enjoyed many great trips and rounds with his golfing partners. Jimmy was a passionate New York Yankees and Giants fan, sharing innumerable games with great friends.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday July 10, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Arrigoni Center at Iona College in New Rochelle, NY. A Celebration of Life will be held immediately following the Mass at Wykagyl County Club in New Rochelle, NY at 12:30 PM. Interment will be private.
