Ken Rea posted a condolence

One of my earliest memories of your Mom and grandmother was in Boston circa 1967. Because of my friendship with you father/grandfather, Randi invited me to attend one of the Sunday get togethers that were held in Newton of the Sacred Heart.
Many young men from Boston College as well as many other colleges in the area would arrive with the high hope of meeting a Sacred Heart student and proceed to talk, dance and if met with approval dine with the ladies of Newton.
If you were invited to dine you were treated to a high quality meal. Something every college student would appreciate.
Not knowing whether or not a second male from Jersey City would be deemed acceptable, your Mom/Grandmother always made sure that the "fix" was in and paired me with one of her friends, thus insuring that I was a participant at the dining table.
She always looked out for her Jersey Cuity guy, Joe, and did the same for me, her Jersey City friend-Kenny.
I will always cherish her memory. May she rest in peace
Kenny Rea
