It is with great sadness that the family of John Peter Sherman, age 66, announces his passing on Thursday, November 25, 2021. Formerly of Rye, New York he was a resident of Stamford, Connecticut.

John was born on April 27, 1955 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Adlyn Foster and William Lawrence Sherman. John traveled extensively in his twenty seven year career in finance, retiring in 2004 from UBS. He was a member of Westchester Country Club.

John had a love of the outdoors that was nurtured in his youth as a Boy Scout where he went on to achieve the highest rank of Eagle Scout. He loved fishing, golf, sailing, music, and art. He was known for his humor, strength and perseverance.
