Cousin Dick left us so many pleasant memories. He was always kind and fun to be with. Even as young kids playing in his parents' backyards, he always shared his good humor and generosity (he had and shared the best toys!).
I will miss him.

Our deepest condolences to the immediate Pigott family and all other relatives and friends of Brother Dick. We just watched the funeral Mass and it was beautiful. I will always remember Brother Dick speaking so kindly and eloquently at my own Dad's (Ray Niven) funeral. May Brother Richard rest in peace.

Dear Uncle Dick,
I so enjoyed the times we discussed our students and how we went about teaching them, especially those that came from a less than ideal environment. So many of your former students are thinking back fondly on your impact on them, whether academically or personally. You will be a part of them and us forever.
Love, Susan

To the members of Brother Pigott’s family I offer heartfelt condolences. I was captain of the junior basketball team at St Bonaventures College in St. John’s Newfoundland in the late 50’s and Br. Pigott was my coach. I have the fondest of memories of this great man as he devoted so much time and commitment to us as our coach. His gentle demeanour and kindness were evidenced in all that he did. Br. Pigott epitomized all the best qualities and values the Brothers stand for. May you rest in God’s eternal peace, good and faithful servant.
